Freedom and love are not to allow all

If you have children or if you don't have it; imagine that you have, would you allow to do things that you know that are not good for her/him?
That's my point for this post.

Some days ago, same sex marriage was legal in all 50 states in USA. It was obvious that all gay people were going to celebrate, but what we saw is that not only gay people were celebrating.
The government of this country, many people worldwide, big companies, lot of people that is not gay and even some people that defined themselves as "christians" were celebrating this legalization on the name of "love" and "freedom".

Let's go to see something; I, as a health professional know that men and women have unique features that make the difference between one sex and the other sex. And that the unique natural way to procreate is between a man and a woman. Do you get it? This is the natural way. God in his infinite wisdom created humans like this and gave us this nature. Go against human nature is inmoral, anti-ethic and go against God's principles is disobedience.
As He says in Romans 1: 27 homosexuality is sin.

So many people go all around Internet with pictures, quotes and hash tags celebrating this sin in "love" and "freedom's" name. Even though, there was some "christians" saying the same.

I, as a Christian have to love all people; yes, but I have to obey God in first place, and if something go against God's principles and is sin I will still showing the God's love and mercy loving them, but not supporting them to comitt more sin.

This lead me to the first point. Would you allow to your children to do things that you know that are not good for him/her?
God doesn't want sins in our lives. He disciplines us as the bible says "Because the Lord disciplines those who loves, as a father the son he delights in." - Proverbs 3:12.

We can't support the sin in name of "love" and "freedom", because love is disciplines too, because if you really love a person you show them the right way to go or try to get out of that way of sin and destruction. And because freedom is not legalize something that involves all the population, specially if there are discretion about it and not all the people are agreed with that. This, go against freedom because is impose something whether you are agreed or not.

So, if we are christians we must obey God and his principles in first place, without stop loving our neighbors and enemies as Jesus says. However not supporting their sins, but showing them the right way to go.

Growing?

How do you know that you are growing? Just because you have another birthday party again?.
Or could be, when you finish one of your most important goals, when you finish one period of your life and is time to start another one.

In my case, last year i just finished college; and it took me a lot of effort to finish it. I can say that only with God's help i could finish 5 years of a medical school without fail or reapeat one course.
But when you finish a goal that took you too much effort, you said: "now, what's next?"; probably you would start thinking in many posibilities that you could do in the future, but certainly you are near to start another goal.

The question this time is: "Are you ready to start another goal?". Is not as easy as you think is; maybe you start remembering good times with your friends during your college or university (I mean the good times of the period of time that you've finished.); but you know? is going to come another good times. Life is that way.

I remember when i finished high school; at the beginnig i was so excited, i wanted to go to the university and feel like a young adult person, but other part of me was remembering the good times with my friends, the jokes and all the good things that made me laugh. And when i started the university at the beginning i was a little bit afraid, but then i felt comfy, i made friends and i had good times like in the school, so the story probably goes on and on.

Now, i'm again at the beginning time, but with God everything is going right.
We just have to trust in him with all ourselves. Sometimes could look like nothing is going right or the way that you want or expect, but if we trust with all our heart in him even when it doesn't look like, God is going to do wonderful things.

Another very common thing in growing, is that when you finish one of your biggest goals, then you don't really know what else to do? Or if you have in mind something, you don't know exactly how to start or if you do, maybe there are some obstacles that you have to come across, first.
So, in this time we have to look how to take over the obstacles and don't waste the time, otherwise take advantage of the time looking forward the next goals.

Frozen movie

Probably you must have heard about frozen movie, who not? because is everywhere and many people talk about it.
Well, this movie is nice and with a very good message, is one of my favorites of the latest Disney's movies. I've grown watching Disney's movies but when I grew up I realized that I preferred the old Disney's movies than the latest, but then Frozen appeared.

When I was listening some songs from Frozen, I saw a lot of comments detracting the movie, and obviously each one have different points of view; but, when I was reading the comments specifically on the let it go song I realized that every single person thought completely different about the message of this song.
So this is my point of view...

To start i'm going to talk about the movie; this starts with the sisters Elsa and Anna that had so much fun together but Anna lost that memories, because Elsa couldn't control the powers that she has.
Personally, when I saw this movie for the first time, I couldn't avoid to link, specifically this part, with my personal life.
I really had bad times in my childhood and also in my teenager years, that remind me a little bit of this part of the movie.
So, when I read many comments detracting Frozen movie or saying that "doesn't make sense" and that "it's just a lot of songs" and other things like that; I disagreed because for me this movie have a lot of sense, as I say you, that part remind me to some years of my life.

Then, another part of the movie that is very commented is the part of the let it go song, when Elsa run away from her home; and in this part I've read a lot of comments of the meaning of this part and each one was so different from the other one.
So, for me, this part  mean to be free and like let away your burdens and also don't worry for every single thing.
And, that's what happened to me, because I worried for everything; and as a Christian I know that I have to give all my burdens to God but sometimes is not so easy and this song in the particular moment that I heard for first time was like a bucket of cold water for me. So it was like God saying to me "Don't worry for everything, trust in me, and give me your burdens, let it go, let me help you" that was hopeful.
So, for me that is the meaning of this song; not exactly what happened on the movie, as many folks putted on different comments, but something linking to the song's lyrics and the meaning of be free, because everyone feel free when you let away all your burdens and for me, obviously, trusting that God knows what He is doing.

And, to finish, another part that I also like and touched me; was the last part.
On the last part of the movie Anna was going to turn to ice and only a love's act could avoid this.
So Anna without knowing saved her sister Elsa from the death and she didn't turn to ice.

Because of many things, bad things and past hurt I mean, we turn cold-hearted; most of the times we didn't realized but we change. We turn grumpier, insensitive, uncaring, unkind and even unsympathetic. So as you realized, these are a lot of bad characteristic of a person; that anyone wouldn't like to have, believe me. But when you have all of these in your heart you just don't care anything and anybody; you just think in yourself and you only realized this and realized that you don't want to be like this when you aren't like this.

So, as a consequences of my hurt past I turned all those characteristic that I mentioned, even when I was the opposite!
It's so sad when you change to bad, you know? Everyone noticed the change.
And I know that God was talking to me about this, and when I saw the movie, and heard to Olay said "a love's act melts the heart" was another bucket of cold water to me.
Obviously I didn't change in that moment or the next day, God does everything in a process, to learn.
So, I learned.
